ABOUT SHMURA MATZAH
Shmurah Matzah is handmade in an ancient, millennia-old process, starting with wheat and flour that has been supervised and protected from any additional moisture.
The dough is speedily hand-kneaded, rolled and flash-baked in a very hot stone-floor oven. This manual baking process is done in less than 18 minutes - from the moment water and flour meet, until the piping hot Matzah is lifted out of the oven.
Our sages encourage using Shmurah Matzah to fulfill the special Mitzvah of eating Matzah on the night of the Seder. The holy book of Zohar, declares Matzah eaten at the night of the Seder to strengthen both spiritual faith and physical health.
