Shabbat - Everyone is GOING TO SHUL
At the urging of Rabbi Yisrael Goldstein, the rabbi injured in the attack on synagogue in Poway, there's a grassroots effort all across the world to make a special effort to go to Shul - especially this Shabbat! The Jewish People will counter darkness with light and demonstrate that we will not be intimidated.
Join us for services this Shabbat morning. We will offer special prayers for the recovery of those wounded and after the service we'll join together for a light Kiddush lunch.
Together we will send a powerful and timeless message: Am Yisrael Chai!

Please bring a friend and encourage others to #ShareShabbat.
CANDLE LIGHTING & DO A MITZVAH:
Before Shabbat, light candles for Lori Kaye and put on tefillin for the recovery of Rabbi Goldstein and the others injured.
A note about security
A. The safety, well-being and peace of mind of everyone who participates in the services and programs at Chabad Bay Area is of foremost importance to us. To that end, we have already started to implement stricter security protocols at Chabad Bay Area.
B. If you would like to help cover the cost of the purchase and installation of additional security enhancements needed (estimated at this point to cost $3,000 to $4,000), please donate here and write "security fund" in the 'Honor of' box.
C. Security measures are not shared publicly, but if you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact the rabbi.
