Yom Kippur In-Person Services

Services will be held indoors with recommended safety measures in place, including: spread-out seating, hand-sanitization on entry, distancing, and enhanced air-filtration. 

YOM KIPPUR SERVICES

Eve - Kol Nidrei | Sun, Sept 27, 2020

  • Evening Service at 6:45 pm

Day | Mon, Sept 28, 2020

  • Early part of Morning Service at 9:00 am
  • Main part of morning service begins at 10:00 am
    (feel free to arrive at time of your preference)
  • Afternoon & Neilah at 5:00 pm
  • We'll have some light to-go refreshments available after the fast

Outdoor Shofar & Tashlich at the Creek!

 Join us for Tashlich at the Creek along with an outdoor Shofar blowing on the second day of Rosh Hashana, Sunday, Sept 20 at 6 pm!

Not only is this always a most enjoyable excursion, if you are not comfortable with indoor services, but are okay with outdoors, this is a great opportunity to fulfill the Mitzvah of hearing the Shofar on Rosh Hashana!

Meet outside of 318 Lafayette, League City (different street, but in the same subdivision as the rabbi's home).

  • Service at 7:00 pm

Daytime | Shabbat & Sun, Sept 19 & 20, 2020

  • Early part of the service starts at 9:00 am
  • Main part of morning service begins at approx.10:00 am
  • Torah reading & Shofar at approx. 11:00 am

Outdoor Shofar & Tashlich at the Creek:
On second day of Rosh Hashana - Sunday, Sept 20 at 6:00 pm

  • Meet outside 318 Lafayette Ln, League City, Tashlich & Outdoor Shofar will be on the banks of Clear Creek behind this address

Rosh Hashana - DINNER TO GO!

Order form is now open for Rosh Hashana Dinner to Go!

Each homemade dinner-to-go will include:

  • Malky's Famous Brisket
  • Choice of Mashed Potatoes or Wild Quinoa
  • Personal-sized Carrot Soufflé
  • Side of Asian-Style String Beans
  • Challah Roll
  • Traditional Apple and Honey Dip
  • Honeycake Dessert 

Dinners will be available for pick up on Friday, September 18, 2020, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

We had a beautiful turnout for the Zoom guest speaker last night! Noted author and researcher, Doron Kornbluth, delved into the Jewish perspective on burial. Although not the most joyous of topics, our speaker did a great job of making the case. It was also nice to get together with our fellow Jews from other Chabad's on the Texas Coast.
