About Kiddush Levana:

Kiddush Levana is an evening of extraordinary blessing for you, your family and the Jewish people!

The very first Mitzvah we were given as a nation, was the Mitzvah to consecrate our calendar months based on the moon's cycle. Kiddush Levana is based on this Mitzvah. Furthermore, our nation is compared to the moon, which at times seems to diminish and wane, only to reveal itself once again in its full glory. Our sages teach that participating in Kiddush Levana brings blessing upon the participant, their family and the entire Jewish nation, helping to bring us closer to the era of 'Geulah' - the foretold and yearned for time of peace and goodness for the entire world.
