What's the deal about Lulav and Etrog?

One of the special Sukkot mitzvot is that of the Four Kinds: The lulav, etrog, myrtle and willow. This is a very meaningful biblical mitzvah, to gather and take hold of these for plants during the holiday of Sukkot, reminding us of our reliance on G-d for our sustenance and livelihood, and also alluding to the foundational concept of Divine unity and harmony within all of creation.

On each day of Sukkot, we take hold of the "Four Kinds" and recite a blessing over them and then wave them to the four directions, as well as upward and downward.

You and your family will enjoy connecting through this special Mitzvah, truly bringing home your experience of celebrating the Sukkot holiday in the most meaningful way!

Order your very own Lulav & Etrog set

As a community service, we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to have your very own kosher quality Lulav & Etrog set for the holiday of Sukkot!

Kindly place your order today or no later than Monday, Sept 18 to guarantee availability.

Your set will be available for pickup prior to Sukkot.

5783 YEAR IN REVIEW!

During this past year, we have continued our work with a host of welcoming events and programs bringing together people of all backgrounds and ages. Popular class series’ such as Taste of Talmud, JLI and Kabbalah were enjoyed by many, as were services, one-to-one outreach, and the awesome holiday dinners and celebrations! We are proud of the results we have seen with our children’s programming, such as our beloved Sunday classes and our amazing Camp Gan Israel day camp.

Looking forward to an exciting new year of 5784 TOGETHER with fun, innovative events and programs and continued growth!
