Do I need to send lunch?
Campers should bring a bagged lunch and two snacks and a drink. (Please pack only non-meat lunches). Additional water is always available on site.
Anything else I should send?
On swimming days please include a bathing suit, towel and sunscreen as well.
Campers should wear the official camp t-shirt on trip days.
How do I get the camp t-shirt?
Campers will be given the official Camp Gan Israel t-shirt on the first day of camp. This is included in your tuition, no additional payment is required.
Does one need to be Jewish to attend?
Camp Gan Israel is a Jewish camp geared for Jewish children. A cental aspect of the camp theme is strengthening awareness and fostering pride in their Jewish identity and heritage. If you are not sure, feel free to contact us with any questions.
We are not that observant at home, will my child feel comfortable?
Absolutely! Our highest priority is to make sure that every child feels comfortable and has an amazing time. While they will certainly learn alot through fun and educational songs, games and activities, no prior knowledge or observance level at home is assumed or required in order to fully enjoy the Camp Gan Israel experience!
Carpooling or travel arrangements
If you are interested in possibly carpooling with other parents, please let us know and we will be glad to put you in touch with any other parents from your area.
For a paid pick up or drop off service, please reach out to us and we will try to help you make that arrangement.
Are discounts or scholarships available?
Our number one tuition rule: No child will be turned away for lack of funds.
To help ease your costs, we do offer an early bird discount as well as discounts for multiple siblings attending.
