Today marks the birthday of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, OBM. In his honor, the US Congress has named this day, Education and Sharing Day USA.
The Rebbe once said about anyone who resolves to make today better than yesterday, and tomorrow better than today, that he is proud to call that person his disciple (Source credit: Living Each Day).
The Rebbe's impact on this -- the post-holocaust -- generation has been monumental; and his life, work and teachings continue to set the trend for the future of Judaism today.
This summer will mark 20 years since his passing in 1994. Commemorative events will be held around the world. The first of these events is the new JLI course starting this spring called, Paradigm Shift: Transformational Life Teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Check it out!
